Online one-to-one lessons for pupils in Year 5 to Year 13, alongside school, taught by trained, DBS-checked tutors. We are a charity started by students. Our founders now work as a teacher and a doctor in training, and still run NSEMM.
A young person’s education should never be limited by what they can afford, who they know, or where they’re from, and it should be delivered safely, fairly, and transparently, because in this sector, none of that is guaranteed by price.

Tutoring
£18 an hour, or less with help
One-to-one online lessons with trained, DBS-checked tutors. Our standard price is £18 an hour. If your child is in Year 6 or above, you can apply to our Community Education Fund. A published rule sets your amount, from £5 to £18 an hour, and you can ask to pay less, even £0.
Learning
Outreach Network
A year-long face-to-face tutoring partnership with Nottingham City Council, funded by the University of Nottingham. Currently paused; we aim to bring it back into Nottingham libraries with new funding and volunteers.

Group Sessions
Free online group revision sessions for GCSE and A-Level students. When sessions are planned, they are listed on the exam prep page.

Our story
Our story
Two sixth-form students started NSEMM in 2020 by making revision videos. It became a registered charity in August 2024. Today we teach one-to-one online lessons for families across England and Wales.
Every pound we raise goes straight back into making tutoring and mentoring accessible – our full accounts are filed with the Charity Commission for anyone who wants the detail.
