We work across three fronts, each built to break down a different barrier to education. Education is structured, curriculum-based tutoring and support. Mentoring is the personal relationship between a tutor and a student that goes beyond the syllabus. Media is free, scalable content, including Tutor Eagle (currently being rebuilt), reaching students we could never reach one-to-one.

Futures will be a free, guided tool for students aged 11+ – a few quick questions about your year group and what you need, and you’ll get real next steps back: subject choices, exam prep, sixth form, apprenticeships, university applications, plus a validated interest quiz to help you think about what you’re drawn to. Save your answers with a free account and come back anytime. And it’s signposting first: if somewhere else is a better fit than NSEMM, we’ll say so.

One-to-one tutoring, priced to fit your family
Online sessions with trained student tutors. Standard rate £16/hr, subsidised through our Community Education Fund, reduced or free for families who qualify. Existing families keep their current rate until their next scheduled review.
Face-to-face community tutoring
A year-long partnership with Nottingham City Council, funded by the University of Nottingham. We're working to bring it back into Nottingham libraries with new funding and volunteers.
Free revision ahead of every exam window
Free online group sessions for GCSE and A-Level students, held in January, May to June, and October.
