Pay What You Can Tutoring | NSEMM – Affordable Education for Everyone

Education that transforms communities

We believe everyone deserves access to great education — whether that’s free tutoring in your local library or pay-what-you-can support online across the UK. We’re a UK-based charity, providing free in-person tutoring at libraries and schools from Canterbury to Manchester and beyond, alongside affordable online tutoring available nationwide.

Our Tutoring Standards

Important: Your tutor never knows what you’ve paid. All tutors receive the same payment regardless of what families contribute.

How does it work?

1

Register your interest

Select from free library sessions in your area or pay-what-you-can online tutoring. Our system will guide you to the best option based on your location and needs.

2

We’ll get back to you

For online tutoring, we’ll ask for a little more information and discuss how everything works. We’ll confirm all the details and book you in for a free chat with one of our tutors.

3

Choose and book your lessons

Choose a date and book your first lesson. Decide what you can afford to pay. Your tutor will arrange this first session, then you can book future slots directly.

4

Start learning

You can choose what you can afford per lesson and change this whenever you want. Access your personal hub to book lessons, view recordings, and track progress.
